I'll be spending the last couple of weeks of the summer holidays chilling with my kids 😌

I have content scheduled and am sure to be having a little scroll from time to time but responses to formal enquiries and messages will be delayed until 3rd September when my children go back to school ✌🏻

Ad This week I brightened up my studio with the @penteluk liquid chalk markers - just look at those colours, so vibrant! (And so much brighter than the chalk markers I remember using years ago when I first started doodling on my windows!)

I've always described my illustration style as simple. For a long time I saw that as a negative, but over the last year I've come to see it as one of my strengths. When you look closely, my illustrations are not detailed, but when you "trust the process" and it all comes together, simple shapes and lines can become something really beautiful!

I hope this inspires you to #CraftYourSummer and create something just for the joy of it!
